Our Socials.
Spice to Meet You is a unique social cooking experience that brings together a vibrant community of food lovers and friends. Our socials are a fun and relaxed way to learn about Czech and German-style cuisine and to enjoy the food you’ve been wanting to learn to make. Classes are held in Margie's home. She will come to your house, and you can find her occasionally at Savory Spice. Each class includes a delicious meal, samples of the spices used, and many tips and tricks to take home. Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet new people. So join us, and get ready to spice up your life!
Meet Margie. Your Host
Self-described as a foodie, Margie has a certain flair for making authentic Bohemian, German, and Italian cuisine. Growing up in the kitchen with her German grandmother, she learned all the special spices that give her food that authentic taste. Even though nothing was written down, the memories and recipes are most treasured. With no formal training, Margie has been able to recreate dishes from the past and bring them to the table. Most days, you'll find Margie volunteering at many of her favorite non-profit organizations. But her real passion is making food for her friends and family. After beating breast cancer 15 years ago, Margie spent two weeks in Italy. There, she attended a cooking school, a lifetime dream come true. She's excited to share her secrets of making these dishes and having great conversations around the table where your family and family is always first.
